BPCA members that take advantage of the CHAS accreditation member benefit need to be aware that from January 2020, the requirements for producing evidence in their application submission will be far greater.
In the past, a lot of the evidence gathered by the BPCA Staff team when auditing the application was sometimes based on the fact that you are a member and we know your procedures/qualification.
Also, as BPCA audit their members, this also formed part of the compliance to CHAS.
However, going forward, all applications for CHAS accreditation will be scrutinised in a more formal and evidence-based manor, so expect to get requests for more information when submitting your CHAS application!
To make things easier we will soon have access to a simple online application process, where you will be asked to upload evidence onto a portal instead of having to fire emails back and forth, with huge attachments that struggle to get through.
Remember, if you want your CHAS accreditation member benefit applied, contact BPCA direct. Do not contact CHAS as they will charge you.
