LNPS announces sponsorship of Wapping Youth Football Club

PRESS RELEASE

BPCA member company London Network for Pest Solutions (LNPS) has announced a sponsorship deal with Wapping Youth Football Club.

The arrangement includes sponsorship of the team’s shirts and the establishment of a special award sponsored by LNPS.

LNPS has announced a sponsorship deal with Wapping Youth Football Club

Wapping Youth FC was founded in 2013 by a group of young adults intent on creating a community team that encouraged the next generation of promising footballers. Beginning with nine players, they now have over 100 players on their books which has meant an expansion in the number of teams being fielded by the club.

They are affiliated with the London FA and are members of the London County Saturday Youth Football League, Echo Junior Football League and Tower Hamlets Youth League.

Wapping Youth FC aims to bridge the gap between the grassroots game and professional football.

They focus on both practical and theoretical aspects of the game, with the intention to develop fully rounded players and valuable members of the community.

LNPS Managing Director Paul Cooper comments:

"Football has been a passion for me all my life. I love the highs and even some of the lows.

"I especially love the sense of camaraderie that is created between supporters and their team.

There is always a sense of community around football, which is why we are keen to become involved with Wapping Youth FC.

"As a company, our mission is to serve the local community and I believe that means going beyond our remit as pest controllers.

"Sponsoring Wapping Youth FC means we are also supporting the next generation of East Londoners and, who knows, maybe even the next Lionel Messi."

Nahimul Islam, Wapping Youth FC Founder and Director said:

"We are extremely pleased to be working with LNPS, a company with strong ties to the local community.

"Our focus is football, but we never lose sight of the importance of youth engagement and our position in the community. After all, as our motto says, ‘the young people of today are the leaders of tomorrow".

The sponsorship deal with Wapping Youth FC is just one of LNPS’s corporate responsibility initiatives which also includes participation in a national mosquito monitoring programme designed to protect local communities.
