BPCA launches new digital event PestExtra as PestEx postponed until 2022

British Pest Control Association is launching a brand new digital event following the tough decision to postpone PestEx 2021.

PestExtra announced the pest managaement show online registration opens soon

Given the most recent government guidance surrounding events, BPCA has made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone PestEx until 16-17 March 2022.

In its place will be PestExtra - taking place over Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 March 2021, it’s the familiar PestEx vibe in an all-digital environment.

PestExtra is a 3-day conference and tradeshow that brings together thought-leaders and public health pest experts from far and wide. You can access all the usual great pest management content from the comfort of your own home or office.

BPCA President, Philip Halpin, commented:

“With the continued uncertainty around the Covid-19 pandemic, local lockdowns and international travel, the decision was made to minimise the risk to visitors, exhibitors and staff within the halls by postponing the event.

“PestExtra is all about getting the pest management sector together - even in difficult times. We want to connect pest professionals from around the world and celebrate the incredible work we do to protect public health.

“We’re excited to bring you this digital alternative to our flagship trade show, and we hope to see you all there!”

What you’ll see

As usual, there will be seminars, product demonstrations, scavenger hunts, CPD trails, competitions, plus a vast virtual trade hall that will keep business owners, technicians and specialists engaged throughout.

You’ll be able to interact and network with the latest pest control technology and services from the world’s leading suppliers of pest control products and services.

It’s an opportunity to learn, network and share in a completely digital environment over three action-packed days.

PestExtra will be free to attend for BPCA member companies and UK-based pest management companies (up to 5 free tickets for non-members). Those wishing to attend from outside of the UK will be able to do so for a nominal price (which will still be far cheaper than flights and hotels to London!).

This digital pest management show will be easy to access. View the show in your internet browser or through our dedicated PestExtra app.

More information on how to register for the event and what you can expect from the new virtual platform will follow in the coming weeks – join the BPCA mailing list to stay up to date.
