AIB International

AIB International was founded in 1919 as a technology and information centre for food processors and bakers. Their original mission was to "put science to work for the baker". They now aim to empower the global food industry to elevate their food safety and grain-based production capabilities.

While the majority of our members are now using BPCA Registered to record their Continuing Professional Development, BPCA still recognises Basis Prompt for membership criteria. 

The Basis Prompt Pest Controllers register is an industry initiative which provides proof that a pest professional has received training and continues to update their expertise.

Bat Conservation Trust and BPCA

Bat Conservation Trust

The Bat Conservation Trust is a not-for-profit NGO that runs a range of conservation projects to protect bat populations. Since 1991 the trust has had some of the most successful conservation projects in the world supported by a network of members, volunteers, academics, professionals and allied organisations such as BPCA.

Bats are protected by law in Europe, and in the UK many species have already benefited from the effects of this conservation work.

British Cleaning Council

The British Cleaning Council (BCC) is the authoritative voice of UK cleaning, a sector worth over £24bn a year to the country’s economy and one which employs over 700,000 people

The Council’s membership is made up of over 20 trade and membership associations which are all linked to the cleaning, waste management and hygiene professions

The BCC coordinates, campaigns and supports the affairs of the whole of the UK’s cleaning industry.

Bureau Veritas

Created in 1828, Bureau Veritas is a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, delivering services to help clients meet the growing challenges of quality, safety, environmental protection and social responsibility.

As a member of BPCA (British Pest Control Association), you can benefit from the opportunity to be independently audited to the BS EN 16636 standard by Bureau Veritas and achieve CEPA Certified® at a special membership rate.

The Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU) promotes improved stewardship of products used to control rodents - a major issue in food safety. Confederation of European Pest Management Associations (CEPA)

Based in Brussels, CEPA represents at the European level, 28 national and regional trade associations and an industry with a turnover of more than € 3,000 million generated by 10,000+ companies with over 40,000 employees. In addition to associations, the CEPA membership also includes manufacturers, distributors, certifying bodies and service companies in Europe.

CEPA was set up in 1974 by the BPCA and the Belgian, Dutch, French and Spanish National Associations. These organisations had the vision to see that National Associations could not, by themselves, defend the interests of their members at a European level. History has proved them right.

Health and Safety Executive and BPCA HSE

Health and Safety Executive

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is responsible for the regulation, enforcement and encouragement of workplace health, safety and welfare in Great Britain, including conducting research into occupational risks. The HSE was created by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

HSE aims to reduce work-related death, injury and ill health.

National Pest Advisory Panel (NPAP)

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) set up the National Pest Advisory Panel (NPAP) to provide specialist advice and solutions to the problems caused by pests.

CIEH is the professional body for all environmental health practitioners (EHPs) whether employed by the government, local authorities, industry or working in private practice.

The Tree Bee Society and BPCA

The Tree Bee Society of Great Britain

The Tree Bee Society of Great Britain (Tree Bee) is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based in Burscough West Lancashire who provides specialist bee removal service for bumble and honeybees that have come into conflict with mankind.
