Training Skills - Level 3 Award in Education and Training (EAT)

Level 3 Award in Education and Training banner

Have you ever sat through a boring training course full of powerpoint and thought "I could do that better?" then this course is waiting for you.

Often people are asked to deliver training because they know a subject well. This does not mean they know how to put the subject across so that others understand it.

What our learners say

I have completed this course and have found your advice and guidance extremely helpful and professional. I highly recommend this training skills course, if you provide any form of training for staff or clients it will open up your eyes to how it should be done correctly. You may have the technical knowledge but is your training adequate and stimulating for the learner?

Paul Rodman

Enjoyable and informative. The course identified the gaps in my knowledge and has helped me to evaluate my current work.

Paul Westgate

This course allows you to not only learn about training, it allows you to practice. The online section of the course really allows you to get a basic understanding for what you are about to cover, which helps on day one as the things been thrown at you, you will already have researched. The best part for me is the way the engagement between the course facilitators and learners, you can clearly see that both people leading this course are doing so in an interactive way which allows me to learn at my own pace, they are quick to ensure everyone has understood information, and rather than have you sitting down for 8 hours, they are very keen to have you up and about. Going in to day one we lead a quick training session, we did this again on the last day, and I feel that with all the tools I had gained, I was able to lead a far better course the second time round, more importantly I was able to tailor my course more appropriately to the learners needs, which is directly linked to what i'd learnt on the course. I couldn't recommend this course enough for anyone wanting to train, it is by far the best course I’ve been on.
